I carried a watermelon. {meow}

Let’s just get one thing straight here…

This post has absolutely no point whatsoever.

Well, kind of. Sort of.

Basically, here’s the deal…. I’ve been in & out of doctors visits lately due to a neck & shoulder issue that I’ve dealt with for a while now and has recently been getting progressively worse. It was getting to the point where working out was really painful, then walking became painful, and now ever sitting or sleeping is painful. Pain. It hurts. Long story short, it turns out I actually have a fractured skull. FRACTURED SKULL!!!! {{WHAT?!}} TRUE STORY!

I nearly fell on the floor when they told me this. Anyway, it appears to be an old fracture with some callus bone around it. On top of that, my neck and should are pretty messed up – my muscles are inflamed & I keep having spasms, because of the tension pulling so much, I’ve lost the curvature of my spine in my neck, thus causing more pain.

If that didn’t make sense, or if this posts becomes REALLY random…. it’s because I’m currently on muscle relaxers and pain meds.

And I kind of see two screens….

and the keys sounds REALLY loud when I type.

AND, I thought I was hearing some really bad music until I realized it was just me singing and humming.

Sigh.

It’s raining outside… and the raindrops are LOUUUUD.

I keep randomly quoting lines from Dirty Dancing, which is my fav movie of all time… yet I haven’t watched it in months.

{{nobody puts baby in a corner.}}

Oh, so in relation to how I feel…. I gave my cats some catnip, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Grizzabella took her catnip stuffed toy and ran under the bed with it so she could enjoy it in peace. Ben, however, completely spazzed out.

This is the cute little fuzzy squirrel stuffed with fresh organic catnip.

Mmmm.

Fur Flying Fun!

I sooo happy…

{{possibly my favorite}} MORE CATNIPZ!

Ooohh, feeling loungy. Kick back & relaxz

I have some pretty funny video of this entire catnip high as well, but… honeslty… I don’t feel like uploading it right now. I will later.

In fact, I really don’t feel like doing anything else right now except sleeping. These muscle relaxers kicked in QUICK!

I feel woozy. Have you ever had to take these things? I’d love to hear your crazy muscle relaxers/post injury/post surgery funny medicine-induced stories. Entertain me! Ready? GO! COMMENT IT!

First, how did you fracture your skull? And what are doctors going to do to fix it? Sounds scary – and painful. I hope those muscle relaxers are still working for you.

Second, the photo of Ben that you titled “more cantipz” is hilarious!! I can't stop laughing at it. :)

I don't have any funny medicine-induced stories for you. Sorry about that. I do, however, tend to get bronchitis once a year during the winter and I end up in a codeine-induced haze. One year, I slept through Christmas. It happened to be our first married Christmas at my in-laws. Oops.

That's insane about your injury!! It freaks me out because I too have ongoing neck/shoulder pain that no one can diagnose!! I think you just inspired me to finally get the xray I was supposed to get months ago!!

On a bright note, your kitty pics crack me up! What a lover!

    Enjoy your drugs. :)

Omg, I hope you're ok! I feel like I'm falling apart. My leg hurts, my wrist is hit or miss, my neck and shoulders hurt, and I think I did something to my forearm earlier this week. :( I hate injuries. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Honestly, I have NO idea how I fractured my skull. When they told me this, I instantly started running through situations that could have caused it, and it's really hard to tell. I'm an avid equestrian, and I've taken more than my fair share of falls off of the back of a horse through out the years. I also did kickboxing & jiu jitsu for several years, so there's possibilities of it happening there. I have NO idea though, lol

OMG, isn't that photo of him hilarious? I was cracking up when I snapped it – he's such a goofy kitty!

The sleeping through Christmas story is PRICELESS! Thanks for sharing, hahaha! :)

I know, right? I was totally freaking out – definitely get yours checked out ASAP! Apparently I could've avoided a lot of pain had a really got this checked out long ago. Oh well….

Thanks for the kitty comments – he is a lover :) I seriously just pick him and and cuddle him all the time… he's a bunch of lovey fluff <3

Happy weekend :) Thanks for the comments!

Aww, D – Thanks and I hope that you feel better too!! What's up with all of these injuries – I feel old, LOL. Hope you enjoy the weekend – try to stay dry out there!!

Entertain? Hubby has recurrent lower back issues due to an old tennis injury. During his last flare, 8 months ago, I had to take him to work so he could take his muscle relaxers. We were 2 miles from home when he started getting sick. I asked what he had eaten. Nothing, but he had consumed a muscle relaxer, anti-inflammatory and multi before leaving the house–on and empty stomach.

He dry heaved in the DD parking lot. We got home, I called his boss giggling and he passed out like he had been on a 2 day drunk–until 2pm.

    I love men.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Lisa, that made me crack UP!!

Sorry I'm just now around to reading my blog comments. This past week was super busy AND I came down with the flu… all while Hubby is on business in Cali. Fantastic! Anyway, I'm going blog catch up now.

Thanks so much for sharing that… he must have felt HORRIBLE, but definitely made me giggle!! hahah :)
