Friday Flip-offs! {yea, I’m looking at you}

I’ve been waiting for this to come ’round. ALLL week. Ready for it?

Thanks to Kludgy Mom, it’s officially time for Friday Flip-offs! Basically, this is a time to take all of those little, irritating issues that have built up all week and just flip them off and kiss them goodbye before the weekend… you know, so we can actually enjoy it.

{Ready? Set. GO!}

To Mr. FedEx man, Flippin’ Flip Off! I don’t know WHAT you’ve been trying to deliver since Monday morning, but returning at 9am EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. is not working for you {or me}. I’m asleep. I’m not answering the door. I have FIVE notes from you. Here’s the deal… either leave it at the door, or let my concierge sign for it. FLIPPED OFF!

To Southern Heat, FLIP OFF! I realized when I moved south, it would be warm. I didn’t realize that by warm, you meant 2nd degree burns from stepping out in to the sun. I’m keeping the economy going solely with my Aloe Gel purchases.

To the new cupcake bakery that opened directly across the street, FLIP OFF! My mornings have now been filled with the smell of fresh baked loveliness and buttercream. If wake up drooling and biting my pillow ONE more time, I’m going to scream.

To Bravo TV, FLIIIIIP OFF! As if you don’t already own enough of my life, you’re now putting Rachel Zoe back on Tuesday nights. I will now, officially, have something to do every single night of the week.

Speaking of TV….

To Steve Carell, aka Michael Scott, FLIP OFF! Not really, I love you, but I’m so devastated that this is your last season with The Office. I had observed a day of silence upon hearing this news.

To the spray tanning booth, FLIP OFF! How DARE you start to spray my face just as I sneeze! I now have a very tan right side of my face, a less tan left side, and a pale white neck. Also, I inhaled an insane amount of tanning solution…  my tissue should not have a tan every time I sneeze.

Now, I can go in to the weekend with a smile on my face. :)

    Your flip off's had me giggling ….Im sorry your spray tan ended up a mess… I feel your pain Ive had spray tans before and boy if they go wrong you are stuck with that F up for days ….. you also need to have words with the bakery … its inconsiderate

    Came over from Friday's Flip Off at Kludgy Mom. Loved your Flip Offs! I definitely need to start this feature on my blog. :) Your one about the heat made me laugh. I used to live in TX and HATED the heat there. We moved to Ohio a long time ago, but we still have that crappy heat here. We've only been able to give our A/C a break 2 times since the third week of May. I told the Hubs, are we back in Texas now or what?! We're definitely feeling the sizzle factor here–as in, turn off the heat, we are done!

    That would be absolutely disastrous for me. I'd be eating it 3x a day.

    and yeah, I don't know how much more of my life I can commit to Bravo. I don't watch Rachel Zoe, but the new Real Housewives of DC is starting, then Flipping Out is almost back, Top Chef….the list goes on…

    I so love Bravo.

    You did make me feel better about the heat situation, though. At least
    I know I'd have still been enduring the same temps up north. Hope you

    Fortunately, this is my first spray tanning f up – and I spray a LOT.
    I still look like I had a fight with an oompa loompa, though. I'm
    staying inside this weekend. Haha.

    Oh, and yea, the bakery will be getting a letter from me…… Since
    my lawyers doesn't seem to want to sent one. Hmph.

    Great Flip offs!! I used to live in Georgia for a couple years and the humidity can get the best of ya. Bravo owns me, I can't wait until the new season of flipping out! What I would give to live across the street from a cupcake shop!! Yummers. Wonderful blog.

    I tried watching your blog, but my daughter was all like, “What's dis noise, what's dis noise?”, attracting my son over, who preceeded to try and rip off the keys to my lap top. I will have to check back on that later, but so loving the hair flipping action.

    Awww, thank you SO much!!! LOL, sorry about the blog causing the kiddos to attack the lap top, totally understand – my niece RUNS to my side every time she hears the slightest bit of noise on the computer and screams “WHAT ARE WE WATCHING?!?!?!”.

    I'm a professional hair flipper. ;)

    And I KNOWWWW…. I'm horribly upset about him leaving The Office. I seriously had a day of silence upon finding this out. Thinking about therapy.
