We all know that I broke my cookies & other kitchen utensils when I attempted to bake homemade chocolate chips {thanks for all of your tips & suggestions in the comments, by the way!}, but I have GREAT news. Not everyone is as sucky of a baker as I.
Last night, Brittney hosted an amazing cookie exchange and holy cats were there some yummy cookies there! Seriously folks, these girls can bake. The bad news? NONE of my cookies really turned out {evidence}, so I decided to give in & go to a local bakery to pick up some freshly made fudge {you know, because I wanted to show up with something that, unlike my cookies, was edible.}
Brittney had a delicious spread of snacks for us to munch on:
After a plate full of snacks, it was time to dig in to the cooooookies!
Everyone grabbed plates and made a trip around the cookie island.
And great conversations continued…
Check out the size of that cookie! YUM!
There were SO many to try. Luckily, Jessie halved a few of them with me so we could sample more.
After we were stuffed, everyone grabbed plates or containers to gather cookies to take home.
And of course we ended the night with a group shot!

It was so much fun :)
Thanks to Brittney for being a wonderful host and to everyone who came for such YUMMY cookies! I think we need a recipe exchange {not that I’d be able to successfully bake any of them, haha ;) }
This was my first time attending a cookie exchange and I LOVED it!
Have you ever been to a cookie exchange?
