Home for the Holidays. {Maybe Christmas means…}

After a long day of traveling, I’m finally here. Sitting at my parents house by a roaring fire and admiring the glow of the Christmas tree, I’m officially home for the holidays.

It was a long trip with an SUV full of two cats and loaded to the top with presents. Some passing us may have suspected us to be Santa’s sleigh.

Evidence from the iPhone:

Seriously, I don’t think I could have fit one more thing in there. Actually, this was after hubs and dad had already unloaded a few presents. Sigh.

I’m happy to be home. There’s lots of family time planned & catching up with friends to be had.

I’ll most likely be taking a few days off of blogging so that I don’t have to worry about getting photos uploaded and posts written when I could be spending that time with family & friends that I don’t get to see nearly enough. {Notice I did say a short break from *blogging*, not social media – you can still catch me on the go at twitter & facebook}

With that being said, I’ll leave you with some wise words from The Grinch

Maybe Christmas…” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”

Wishing you all a very blessed & Merry Christmas. <3

    I spent a lovely Christmas in West Virginia … and got out of the mountains just in time! It snowed a ton in Webster County like minutes after I pulled out and headed toward I-79!

    Luckily, we beat most of the snow, too. Or, well, we were ahead of if. Heading south on I-77 still had TONS of snow on the ground! Made for a pretty drive, at least :)
