I’ve never made a new year resolution. Ever. True story.
Why? Because I’m way too impatient to wait until something like a brand new year to start doing something or work toward a goal. Silly, maybe, but that’s just me. When I want to actually do something, I tend to leap before I look and go mach ten with my hair on fire. Waiting to implement resolutions just isn’t my thing.
Wow, I’m the new year’s party pooper, aren’t I? To those of you who are actually able to make resolutions & stick to them – I applaud you.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like the whole feeling of a fresh start… a new chapter…. wiping the slate clean… {whatever tickles your fancy.}
In an attempt to be somewhat in the spirit of things regarding self betterment, goals and all the countdown/top some number lists during this time of year, I’ll leave you with this:
Ghandi’s Top Ten Fundamentals for Changing the World.
In other news, I’ll be starting some fun new things around here for 2011, including Photo 365 – one photo taken each day for all of 2011. The Flickr gallery with the daily photo will be up shortly. Anyone else doing a photo 365? Leave a link in the comment to share!
So, now I’m wondering if I’m the only resolution rebel….
Do you make new year’s resolutions? If no, why? If yes, what’s this years??
{leave it in the comments, yo!}
P.S. – New design!! Like it? I’m. in. love.
