All I know is, everything’s gonna be alright.

Wow. I just can’t thank you all enough for all of the amazing comments, tweets & emails that you sent in regards to my pregnancy loss post on Thursday.

The support, kind words, prayers and stories mean so much to me. We’re still healing; both emotionally and physically. I’m so thankful for everyone who has been here to support us and am so glad that hubs & I have been able to remain so positive through things.

I’m still on bed rest, which, at first, sounds wonderful…. but… I’m bored out of my mind. I haven’t even been downstairs since I came home from the hospital on Tuesday. Stairs are not my friend right now. Actually, standing up straight isn’t really my friend, either. I have no idea what I’d do without hubs – he’s such an amazing care taker. He spoils me. In fact, he actually spent the entire day today cleaning the whole house, washing sheets, moping floors. He’d make an excellent housewife.

We’ve been getting some deliveries this week from our sweet family. I haven’t taken any photos of the flowers or anything yet. I keep hoping I’ll be able to get out of bed any day now, but it hasn’t happened. Earlier, hubs brought up a plate of regular & chocolate dipped fruit from the Edible Arrangements that we received from both my parents and also from my brother & sister in-law. This is probably the fifth plate we’ve shared, so I decided I’d at least better snap an iPhone pic before I eat it all.

I think I could live off of this stuff. It’s amazing! The strawberries and the chocolate dipped apples are my favorite.

Speaking of pineapple, have you seen these crazy new hybrid fruits called a pineberry? It’s a pineapple crossed with a strawberry. I think they’re adorable.

I want one.

If any of you find them, please let me know where I can snag them.

I love eating cute food.

I just starred at that photo for, like, ten minutes ooh-ing and aah-ing over it. These happy drugs that the hospital sent home with me are kind of magical.

On that note, it’s time for my meds and my daily reminder that things will get better.

Hope your Sunday starts off beautifully <3

I admire your positivity and resiliency, while at the same time not denying what you’re going through. That’s so HEALTHY! I love the quote about learning to dance in the rain!

So glad to hear you are hanging in there! I know this can’t be easy, but I really admire you for at least trying to push through with a positive attitude! Also, on a totally random note, is it weird that pineberry or whatever totally freaks me out?! It’s like an albino strawberry… that freaks me out. I have weird fears lol hugs to you!!!

I have that same exact “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” picture on my blog sidebar!!! It’s like my life motto. Oh, and your so right that pineberry is mesmerizing!!! Super Cute. Your handling this so well, and I really admire you for that! Thinking about you.

Lindsay, I cannot get over how positive you feel. It’s so great, and your attitude is truly inspirational. I hope you continue healing well; though it’d be nice if the physical recovery would speed up :) Hang in there!
And OMG a pineberry? Pineapple and strawberries are my two favorite fruits. Who knew they could mate? I must find this!

Thank you so much, Jess! Our faith most certainly has brought a sense of peace to our family through this entire situation – I think we’d be having a much more difficult time dealing with things without it. Thanks for the love & prayers!

Thank you so much, Jen! I appreciate that so much :) And, YES! PINEBERRY! Isn’t that amazing. I’m obsessed with it and want to grow little pineberry babies in my garden (well, I guess I need a garden first.)

You have chosen one of my favorite sayings. I truly love it and believe that is what life is all about. Glad hubby has been so wonderful. How is he dealing with it all? Thinking of you both xo

  • http://www.designerwife.com/ Lindsay {Designer Wife}

Hubs has his moments of ups and downs, but we’re leaning on each other and just praying through it together. If I have to take one positive from this experience, it’s that our marriage is only stronger for getting through this together. :)
