Tell me, who here celebrates Valentine’s Day??

Who here think’s it’s a silly, overrated “hallmark” holiday?

Who here is so smitten with your one true love that you were totally oblivious as to what day is is?

I had planned on taking a photo specifically for our cute cards, but being on bed rest isn’t exactly the best look for me, so I had to grab this one from last month.

I used to love Valentine’s Day. My mom always made the most gorgeous valentine boxes for me to take to our classroom parties. I love the sparkle & glitter of it all. But, now that I’m older… I’m over it. I mean, I’m not “over it” over it, I still love all the cuteness and prettiness of it, I just don’t get excited about a date night or hubs bringing me flowers… that’s happens pretty often around here. It’ll be fun when we have kids and I can do all the artsy crafty stuff with them.

Hubs and I still wear our rose tinted glasses and act lovey dovey with each other the other 364 days a year, so why should Feb. 14 be any different? I won’t explain the whole story again, but, if you missed it last year, I explained the story of our first valentine’s day together… including some pretty mushy gushy pics straight from my card and my diary. Awww. Loves it.

Speaking of valentine’s day stuff, I’m sitting here eating Dove chocolates. An entire bag of them.

These things are evil. I can’t quit them!

Hubs brought me a bag of them as part of my “feel better” package. He loves me. I hope he’ll still love me when I’m 800lbs and stuffed with Dove’s.

While eating my Dove’s, I’ve been perusing the internet for pretty Love Day crafts, foods, decorations, etc. I thought it would be fun to share my favorites…
