That’s a wrap, February! {round up}

It’s the end of the month and the beginning of a week. I’m blogging from bed, reruns of Bethenny Getting Married? are playing on my TV, I’m listening to the original Dirty Dancing soundtrack and watching a storm roll in. It’s near 80 degrees here again today, the sky is turning darker by the minute.

It feels like summer.

Is tomorrow really only March??

February hasn’t been the best month for me, so I’m happy to bid it adieu and start fresh with a new month. I don’t want to dwell to much on things, so I’m keeping this monthly round-up short & sweet.

  • Happily, Valentine’s Day came around to distract me and lift my spirits a bit. I also shared some of what I had written in my personal diary when I met hubs.
  • One of the highlights of the month was a night at MOMIX: Botanica and meeting the Creator & Director of such an amazing performance. It made for a fantastic Girls Night Out.

So, there you have it, some of the ups & downs of the month. Bring on March!

What was YOUR highlight of February?

    As always, I enjoy reading your blog! It’s really hard for me to pinpoint one thing that was the highlight for me in February…so much to be thankful for! The last several days of February…I managed to FINALLY launch my blog! I really have no idea what I am doing…but at least I am trying!!!

    I only “met” you in the past couple of weeks so I didn’t read your heart-wrenching post until now. I only wish I could reach through and hug you. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and I get fearful of the “what ifs”. It’s hard, especially when others around you are enjoying motherhood or preparing for it soon but with faith and love it’ll happen…for both of us.

    I’m glad to read it’s picked up and gotten better for you though and you can look ahead with a positive attitude towards March.

    I learned I am suffering from anxiety and mild depression which is no doubt a direct result of being cooped up often plus my own insecurities and constant worries. Our recent trip to San Diego lifted my spirits and made things a bit more calm. A work in progress of course but better days are ahead.

    I hope you have a better month in March and things turn out well for you. =)

    The best part of every February for me is when it’s over. It’s always a tough month every year. I’m glad it’s March tomorrow :)

    I discovered you this month and I’m so glad I did. My highlight for February was getting my very first tattoo. I got the Hebrew word for courage tattooed on my wrist. I’m walking a difficult journey at the moment and feeling like I need lots of courage. The word I chose is the word used in Joshua 1 when God tells Joshua Be strong and very courageous, for He is with him. I figured walking around with that reminder would never get old :)

    February has been a month for me…it hasn’t been fabulous, but hasn’t been terrible either. Once nice thing-I got a SNOWDAY from work. So that was an added bonus in the middle of the week.

    WHOO for SNOWDAYS! That’s pretty exciting!! :)

    Makeda, I’m SO glad that you discovered me, too! Welcome! :) I love the idea behind your tattoo, I agree it’s one that will never get old :) Keeping you in my prayers for more & more courage – You’ve got this, girl!! <3

    Aw, thank you so much, Kim! I really appreciate the kind words so much. I’m so sorry to hear that you’re suffering from anxiety and mild depression – I hope it’s short lived and that you can quickly overcome it. And you’re absolutely right, better days ARE ahead! One of my favorite quotes right now; “In the end, it’ll all be alright. If it’s not alright, then it’s not the end.” :)
